This work speaks to the loneliness and loss of identity women can feel in motherhood. Cheerios and milk pour from her because she has become a vessel — a utility to feed, to transport, to care. The morning school commute mirrors the repetition and endlessness of it all.

She is not unhappy. She loves her child, but she is lost in this role.
